RULES OF KUKULI

ORIGIN :

The Kukuli is a traditional game of the Andean region. It is quite possible that the Kukuli has been invented on the principles of play brought by Spanish conquistadors during their conquests in South America in the sixteenth century.

It evokes the myth of "Kukuli" (girl) who is kidnapped by "ukuku" (men dressed as bears).
