RULES OF ROYAL GAME OF UR

ORIGIN :

The royal game of Ur was played more than 4500 years ago in the sumerian city of Ur, in present day, Irak.
This game was totally lost during a thousand years until it was re-discovered by the archeologist Sir Leonard Wooley, in the 20th century, in the royal tombs of Ur, among a lot of other importants discoveries.

EQUIPMENT :

A board with twenty illustrated squares.
Five darks rounds counters and five lights rounds counters.
Four pyramidals dices.

AIM OF THE GAME : To be the first to get the five counters around the board to the finish point.
